Maplewood Elementary is excited to welcome Mr. Ransom Gates as the new assistant principal at Maplewood Elementary School, starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
Maplewood Elementary is excited to welcome Mr. Ransom Gates as the new assistant principal at Maplewood Elementary School, starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
Mr. Gates began his educational career in 2019 teaching fifth grade at Hillcrest Elementary in Thornton, Colorado. He moved to Weld Re-1 in 2020 and served as a fifth grade teacher before being promoted to his most current role as math instructional coach.
Mr. Gates obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Wyoming. He then earned his masters degree in Elementary Education and in Educational Leadership from University of Northern Colorado.
